Tropical Leaves

The Garden of Words (2013) dir. Makoto Shinkai

Takao Akizuki is an aspiring shoemaker who meets a mysterious lady in the park on rainy days. In this sad yet fulfilling story, the two characters are able to share the most humane kind of love imaginable in an effort to help each other walk farther in the face of sorrow. The film's soundtrack and animation are breathtaking at every watch!

If that's what you're interested in, look no further! The following resources we recommend offer students exactly that from both inside and outside UCI!

Therapy Assisted Online (TAO)

One fun and educational resource that students can access right now for free is the TAO program, which offers self-help therapy services that can help address issues such as perfectionism to test anxiety. The interactive lessons are incredibly helpful for relatively quick learning on mental health and allows students to keep track of their progress through lesson logs. Please consider this valuable resource!
