This podcast series is a part of WISE's field study, called Humans of Social Ecology, a project focused on elevating the various members of Social Ecology– students, staff, faculty through podcast interviews uploaded on WISE's Soundcloud. Ananya Khanna

Hi, my name is Ananya Khanna (she/her/hers) and I am a 4th Year, Psychological Science major minoring in Criminology, Law & Society. I am currently a member of WISE, serving under the role as the Social Support Cluster Lead. I aspire to get my PhD in psychology and hopefully become a forensic psychologist in the near future.

Mariana Montserrat Machaen

My name is Mariana Montserrat Machaen (she/her/hers/ella). I’m currently a fourth year student at the University of California, Irvine. I’m currently majoring in Psychological Sciences and Minoring in Chicano Latino Studies. My current positions at WISE PAC include the Education Cluster Lead and the Director of Design. I aspire to become a Marriage Family Therapist that wants to focus on trauma and stress among young children and their families.

Michelle Thai

Hi! I’m Michelle Thai (she/her/they) and I’m a third year University of California, Irvine student double majoring in Psychological Science and Criminology, Law, and Society. I also serve as the Director of Marketing and Self Care peer advisor. I’m passionate about supporting people’s wellbeing and I hope to be a mental health counselor for juvenile youth in the future.
